We as tattooers are always SUPER grateful when clients trust us with their vision and want their ideas in our style! However, we are also not mind readers....well, at least not all of us...so the more details we have about the design, the better and more awesome the final drawing will become! We still put our 'flare' and ideas into it, but it is up to the client to know exactly what they want. Otherwise we get into a guessing game and the design may not be the right fit for the client. It is also very time-intensive on the artist to keep coming up with drawings and blocking off tattoo time, if this continues. This could also create an akward position for the client to speak up and they might end up settling on whatever drawing- even if they aren't really feelin' it- because they don't want to (upset, offend) the artist. The byproduct- client might not be 100% happy with the end result. OR- they might ghost, because it got too akward. It doen't have come to this- know what you want!
It doesn't have to get akward
