PAINTINGS

With an immense love for the natural world, surrealism and portals, Taryn’s paintings often combine these aspects in her works, while adding a twist of imagination. Looking deeper, her perspective on caring for nature, animals and fellow man is emphasized in her work through color and symbolism. Bold themes of environmentalism and ideas of futurism have become reoccurring subjects as well. Her favored paint medium has predominantly been watercolor, but has since branched out to oil and acrylic. The focus on recent works have primarily been abstract landscapes and dreamlike worlds; Hidden Worlds and Caverns, where a sense of wonder is invoked while pulling the view in closer.
